London newborn photographer – gorgeous newborn baby boy

This was such a easy going and sweet natured baby – as I would have expected with these parents! I was delighted that his grandmother was visiting when I came and was able to be in the photographs too.

I love that image of baby’s feet in Grandma’s hands! So special and beautiful! Gorgeous work!

These are some of the sweetest newborn pictures I have seen!! I LOVE the parents and grandparent pictures….just love them!!! They are truly gorgeous. He’s beautiful little boy too and I love the b&w conversions.

I love the peaceful sleeping baby shots! The grandma looks very proud of her new little one too. I particularly enjoyed the juxtaposition of the baby’s foot with the grandma’s hand – nicely done!

Childrens photographer, London: Family portraits

I had a lot of fun with this family – they totally got into the idea of playing around for the camera.  I love family and children’s portraits that aren’t too formal – I think this is one of my favorites.

London children’s portrait photographer – N in beautiful dress in the park

I have been waiting to blog these photographs for  a while…  We met in the park  to photograph N in this gorgeous dress that she had recently worn to a wedding and this seemed like the perfect setting for it.  I love the twirling ones with hair and dress thrown out in a circle…

Her mum was concerned that she might be a little shy or reserved in front of a photographer, but we soon found out that this was quite unfounded!

Beautiful girl! But that laugh… oh boy. It really touched me. Gorgeous images.

London family portrait photographer – Autumn photos

Autumn is perhaps one of the most beautiful seasons for portrait sessions. These were taken as the sun was close to setting in the afternoon and the light was gorgeous.

This brother and sister are so lively and energetic. I have photographed them on several occasions and their family has a lot of action shots of them running, jumping and climbing trees.  This time  I wanted to try to get some quieter and more reflective portraits. I love the way that their affection for one another is so evident in these shots.

London Family Photography – Afternoon Tea at Emporium in Muswell Hill

A week or so ago we went to visit my friend Lucinda at Emporium Tea Rooms – the gorgeous cafe and shop that she runs with her friend Helen. The tea and cakes are just superb, but the atmosphere is what makes it so special. Surrounded by beautiful old china and hand picked art and craft, the cafe makes you feel completely at home and comfortable.

It’s a treasure trove for a photographer – jewel colours mingle with vintage designs. It would be hard to pick a favourite item, but the antique tea set with painted violets might be something I’ll be going back for…

Very cool! That’s where we’re going for our next coffee!!
