Portrait Photography in Hampstead

More to follow from this enjoyable portrait session in Hampstead. Followers of my blog may recognise this girl as I have photographed her on several occasions over the years.

This sunny portrait was shot on a chilly but bright New Year’s Eve!

Children’s Portrait Session in Central London

Here is just one exerpt from a recent children’s portrait session outdoors in Central London. The parks and gardens of London are extremely beautiful at the moment. Dappled sunlight and tall Mayflowers make a lovely and varied backdrop for children’s photographs.

If you would like to book a children’s portrait photography session in Central London please get in touch. Outdoor sessions book up quickly in the summer. The shoots are extremely relaxed and you can take toys, bubbles and a picnic and make a lovely afternoon of it.

I personally love shooting portrait sessions outdoors, especially with younger children as they tend to be really happy and upbeat when playing outside. The opportunities for wonderful photos are everywhere. I really treasure the photos of my own children from summers when they were younger and I love to be able to provide these mementoes for my clients.

Also, many people are surprised that doesn’t need to be sunny to get the best photos. Some of the loveliest shots I have were taken it was cloudy or even showery. The light on a cloudy day is very soft and flattering if used well, and I also have some great family photos from afternoons when we were dodging showers!
