Teenager portrait: Central London photographer
It was lovely to meet up again with this young man, whom I have been photographing for many years, for an informal photographic portrait session. He is always a pleasure to work with, and this time was no exception. We worked in the grounds of a local church which is next to the school he used to attend, and which provided a great backdrop. It will also hopefully bring back lots of memories for him when he is older and looks back at these photographs.
Usually I find I can get better portraits/photographs of teenagers when they are away from their parents, but in this case his dad was really helpful and even got in a few of the pictures!
(It was a challenge to find the right place to shoot in the harsh overhead sunshine, but once we stepped into the portico of the church we found some really beautiful light, as this portrait shows.)
