Cyanotype print of Autumn Rose. Size approx 7.5 x 5 inches.

I make each cyanotype print by hand coating Arches Platine paper with a specially mixed light sensitive solution in very dim lighting. (The paper is made in France using a traditional process. The 100% cotton gives the paper a smooth velvety surface.)

I then let it dry overnight. I expose it using UV light, under a large negative. I then rinse the paper in water until the blue image emerges, and carefully dry it.

Each print is slightly different due to the brushstrokes and other variations in the handmade process.

This print is signed and dated on the back.

This print is available via the Artist Support Pledge, where once I have sold ASP prints to a value of £1100 I pledge to buy the work of another artist or artists for £220.
